About the Show:
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA directed by Harold Prince traces the tragic love story of a beautiful opera singer and a young composer shamed by his physical appearance into a shadowy existence beneath the majestic Paris Opera House. Adapted from Gaston Leroux’s classic novel of mystery and suspense, this award-winning musical has woven its magical spell over standing room audiences in more than 100 cities worldwide and is now the longest-running show in Broadway history.

Location:
The Hippodrome is located at 12 North Eutaw Street on the University of Maryland Baltimore campus, just three blocks west of the Mechanic Theatre and four blocks north of Camden Yards at the edge of the West Side revitalization effort. There is a parking garage managed by the University of Maryland in the same block as the Hippodrome and parking is around $10, very reasonable. You can enter the theater directly using the elevator and come out at the coat check.
