New York City Trip in November 2010
Planned and suggested activities:
Rockettes at Radio City
Walking in Central Park
Harlem Walking Tour
Jazz at Smoke near Columbia University.
Jazz at Dizzy's Coco Cola @ Lincoln Center
Theater suggestions: South Pacific @ Lincoln Center
Once is Not Enough (Sequel to Phantom of the Opera)

We will be staying in the Upper West side of Manhattan, just a block from Central Park, near subway stations. There are various options for staying overnight, including finding your own accommodations and joining the group for some or all activities.

Apartment Option
Back in December 2009, I signed a lease for a 3BR Duplex Apartment in the Upper West Side for 5 nights, which spans the Veterans Day holiday on Thursday, November 11. The owner required a 5-day rental.

You've got two choices:
1) $300 for core 3 nights, Thur, Fri, Sat, arriving Thursday and departing Sunday. With this option, you can stay all 5 nights, or any 4 nights, for no additional cost, thereby reducing your cost per night to less than $100/night. If you can only spend two nights, it is still $300 (which is still a good deal).

2) $200 for Wed and Thur, arriving Wednesday and departing Friday. Or you can stay only Wednesday night for $100. See a Broadway show on Wednesday evening and return on Thursday.

Pay $100.00 now to assure you are included in this adventure of sharing this wonderful apartment with others. I need at least 4 other people to share this with me during the core 3 nights ($300 each), in order to continue with this plan. I have option of canceling this rental 10 days prior to November 10.
